Our doctors diagnose and treat diseases of the Cardiovascular system and related symptoms. Some of the causes of cardiovascular issues can include:

  • Coronary artery disease
  • Endocarditis
  • Ischemic heart disease
  • Pericardial diseases
  • Valvular heart disease
  • Cardiomyopathies
  • Congenital heart disease in adults
  • Dysrhythmias
  • Disorders of the veins, arteries, and pulmonary circulation

Cardiology Diagnostics Services

  • Electrocardiogram (ECG). This test records the heart’s electrical activity, shows arrhythmias (abnormal rhythms), and even detects heart muscle damage.
  • Echocardiogram (ECHO). We also perform heart ultrasounds, also known as the ECHO test, which takes “moving pictures” of the heart with sound waves used in diagnosing heart conditions.

Health Tips & Info

What are the signs you have heart problems?
  • Shortness of breath when you are active or lie down
  • Fatigue and weakness
  • Swelling (edema) in legs, ankles, and feet
  • A rapid, irregular, and fluttering heartbeat
  • Persistent cough or wheezing with white or pink blood-tinged phlegm
What does a cardiology diagnosis test involve?
The actual testing methods vary by the symptoms shown in each individual, but in general, the tests will monitor your level of tiredness, breathing, heart rate, heart activity, and blood pressure while exercising. This test may be done in combination with other imaging testing methods or echocardiography.
Why would my doctor determine I need a cardiology diagnostic test?
Doctors may order a cardiology diagnosis test to determine the causes of chest pain, weakness, or shortness of breath. Additionally, doctors may look for evidence of inadequate blood flow to the heart muscle during exercise and monitor or diagnose blockages in the coronary arteries based on a patient’s symptoms.
